Account Manager



Tobbaco Industry

We have been retained by our Client that specializes in Tobacco to facilitate the recruitement of an Account Manager. In this role, the Account Manager will be coordinating the processing of all financial data in the system in a timely manner and to help increase market share in a global entity.

Degree educated with related professional qualification (i.e. CFA/CPA/CIMA/CFP)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment and a good understanding of the tobacco business

Experience and sound knowledge of accounting rules and principles and interpretation of local tax laws and accounting practices

Business understanding and awareness of all other functions and their interface with finance

Effective negotiation, influencing, communication and presentation skills to interact with people at all levels in the organisation (and outside)

Good leadership skills

Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines

Knowledge of SAP Financial Modules

Manage the existing portfolio of accounts

Develop meaningful relationships with clients

Serve as a point of contact to clients and work on their needs and requirements

Generate new business leveraging potential customer networks

Report on the status of accounts and transactions

Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives

Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Establish and maintain executive level relationships to create a qualified pipeline and drive revenue

Build and grow your assigned accounts as much as possible by achieving renewals and identifying up/cross-sell opportunities.

Work collaboratively across the wider sales organisation to close business in a timely manner and achieve sales targets.
